Freelancing as a Career

Yes! Many professionals work full-time as freelancers. With consistent clients and quality work, freelancing can provide a stable income.
Earnings vary by skill and experience. Entry-level freelancers may earn R100–R300 per hour, while specialists can earn R500+ per hour.
Start part-time to build your profile, then move to full-time when you have consistent projects and income.

Finding Work & Clients

Post your services on Xpertz.online and bid on projects in your category. Respond to client requests promptly and maintain a strong portfolio.

Payments & Security

Payments are processed securely through PayFast. Funds are released to freelancers once the project is approved by the client.
No, you cannot directly accept payments through our platform. All payments must go through Xpertz.Online for security. Direct payments outside the system are highly discouraged to prevent you from being a victim of scams.
Earnings can be withdrawn to a verified South African bank account after the project is completed and approved.
Payments to PayPal and similar platforms such as Stripe are not available at this time. We are working on our own secure solution for payments outside South Africa.

Tools & Platforms

Xpertz.online is designed for South African businesses and freelancers, offering local payment options, lower fees, and trusted connections.
Not necessarily. Most projects only require an internet connection and free tools such as Zoom or Google Meet, Google Docs, or design/editing software relevant to your field.
